    Originally released by French tastemaker label Kitsuné in 2008, Inner City Angst captured the raw, urgent energy of a new wave of UK electronic artists tearing up the rulebook. This reissue brings the cult-favourite EP to CD format for the first time, complete with restored artwork and liner notes.

    Fronted by breakout single “Superheroes”, which NME hailed as a “Recommended Download”, the EP fuses distorted electro-punk, glitchy beats, and synth-driven chaos with a dark pop sensibility. The EP became a sonic staple for a generation seeking something more visceral.

    Inner City Angst cemented its underground legacy when “Superheroes” was featured in Episode 7, Series 3 of the cult E4 drama Skins, soundtracking one of the show’s most pivotal and emotionally charged scenes. The placement introduced You Love Her to a wider audience, propelling the track into the consciousness of alt youth culture across the UK and beyond.
